What Sheets Fix-It accesses

Sheets Fix-It accesses the current spreadsheet in Google Sheets™ only to provide the feature you select. Depending on the feature, this can include cell values, formulas and formatting information in the range you choose. The add-on uses that information in the current spreadsheet to calculate results and, only when you choose Apply, to make the requested change.

We do not transmit spreadsheet cell values, formulas, formatting, workbook contents or Google Account data to Tasksmith Software, Stripe or another third party. Sheets Fix-It does not use spreadsheet data to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

How we protect data

We apply data minimisation: the add-on requests the narrowest available spreadsheet permission and works only in the spreadsheet where it is installed. Requests between the add-on and Tasksmith Software's licensing service use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit. The licensing service accepts authenticated, short-lived session tokens; expired tokens are removed from the add-on's local user storage.

Saved feature preferences, saved setups, recipes, temporary highlight-restoration information and the limited snapshot needed for the most recent Undo action are stored in Google Apps Script user properties. Those properties are scoped to the signed-in Google user and are not accessible to other add-on users. Spreadsheet data stored for Undo or highlight restoration remains in that user-scoped storage only until it is replaced or cleared by the relevant add-on action; it is not copied to Tasksmith Software's servers.

Account and billing

If you sign in or purchase Pro, we send your email address, the one-time sign-in code you enter, an installation identifier and the short-lived session token needed to verify your account and subscription status to Tasksmith Software's HTTPS licensing service. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Retention and deletion

You can remove saved setups and recipes from the add-on, clear add-on highlights, undo the most recent write, and sign out to remove the local licensing session and cached plan status. We retain account and subscription records only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You may ask us to delete personal information that we hold, subject to those obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell spreadsheet data. We share only the limited account and subscription information needed with service providers that operate authentication, licensing and payments, including Stripe for payment processing. We may disclose information where required by law.
